Tour Plan

Day 1: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your journey begins with a transfer to Entebbe International Airport for a scenic domestic flight to either Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip, depending on your lodge location.

As you soar above Uganda, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush forests, and terraced landscapes. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge near the forest.

After check-in and lunch, spend the afternoon at leisure. You may opt for a guided community walk, visiting nearby villages to learn about local culture and traditions, or simply relax and take in the tranquil forest environment.

Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Wake up early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. You will then be assigned a gorilla family and accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers into the dense rainforest.

The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat—watching them feed, play, and interact.

This is a deeply moving wildlife encounter and a highlight of any African safari.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you may choose to unwind or enjoy optional activities such as a forest walk or a visit to the Batwa community to learn about their ancient forest lifestyle.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Fly Back to Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed morning with breakfast at the lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the forest. Depending on your flight schedule, you may take a short nature walk or simply relax before departure.

Later, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or connect to your international departure flight.
